It's time for something new

New and upcoming releases by Toni Cox, Sian B. Claven & Ashleigh Giannoccaro

When I finished writing Jasmine In Love in December and then started editing, I thought my release date for the 14th of February sounded so far away. And now? Now, it's release week and I am so excited to share this story with you. I am a believer in true love. I haven't always been, but then I met my husband and he taught me how a woman is supposed to be treated. It was what inspired this story.

Here is the blurb:

Love. How do you define it? Is it something tangible? Hormones, pheromones, testosterone? Or is it something more elusive? Is it something the brain decides? Does your body make the decisions for you? If you had asked Jasmin two years ago, she would not have been able to answer those questions. Now, however, she looked at the world differently … and not just because she was looking at a different world.

But, I am not the only one releasing a new book this week, so if love, or fantasy, isn't your thing and you prefer paranormal thrillers, why not check out Sian B. Claven's new book, Kallista, releasing on the 15th of February.

Here is the blurb:

I told you watch your back. An itch that needs to be scratched. A case that needs to be solved. A mastermind killer on the loose. A sister who wants answers. Delve into the mind of The Butcher who has an itch that needs satisfying. The only way to satisfy it is to take another life. Follow Kallista, the middle child of the Metz family and younger sister of Tatum, while she pursues him, going over each case she thinks is related to him, trying to find out the truth. Is she having a psychological break every time she sees the apparition of one of his victims, or is she actually seeing spirits that are trying to tell her what really happened? The Butcher can’t get away with it again. His body count is getting too high. Sooner or later the odds won’t be in his favour and they’re not in Kallista’s either; but she’s too busy obsessing over him to see the obvious coming for her. Death comes to those who do not see.

There is one more author friend of mine, Ashleigh Giannoccaro, who has a new release coming up on the 3rd of March. She is part of an awesome anthology, if you enjoy a bit of the darker side of love. Your buy link: http://mybook.to/InfamousHearts

Here is the blurb: Thirteen authors come together to provide a glimpse at notorious couples through history. When finding love in the arms of Hades must be escaped before dawn. Where the secret of the outlaw's bride is found only in a place between heaven and hell. Where the wrath of Rosaline swings ominously like a pendulum and rapture can be found in the most iniquitous of times. When the secret of hieroglyphic hearts are drawn by daddy's toy to overcome the feeling of being a darling little pet. When the blonde bombshell thrives high above the world in a tower made up of wanton lust and lies. When becoming a Kray is the only way to survive the mean streets of London. Time becomes frozen in each moment and secrets are told in whispers only to the most coveted. Infamous Hearts: A Match Made in History ***All proceeds to benefit The Joyful Heart Foundation***

There are, of course, other amazing South African authors who are releasing new books in the upcoming weeks, so I'll give them a mention here from time to time as those releases come up. I am currently working on the last book of the Elemental Trilogy, FORBIDDEN ELEMENTAL, as well as the 4th book of the Elemental Short Stories, called LUKE. Those releases are planned for April and I am writing as fast as I can without compromising the quality of my writing. Sometimes, life gets in the way and although I am going to try to keep my fans happy and stick to my schedule, I cannot guarantee exact release dates for those yet.

One other thing that is happening in the next few weeks, is A VIKING THING. Organised by AlterEgos, it is one of the geek fests that happen around Johannesburg during the course of the year. This is a great opportunity for you guys to spend a day out with friends and family and, of course, meet Sian and me and get your signed paperbacks from us :-) I'll be posting about A VIKING THING in the coming weeks to give you some more info, but if you're interested, here's the link where you can buy tickets.

So, that's it from me today. See you guys next week.

Toni
